Questions
Does Shot:DNA record video of my session?
No. Shot:DNA never opens the camera or the microphone. Every make and miss comes from a press, so there is no footage to store or upload.
Can I use Shot:DNA on a busy court?
Yes. There is no phone to prop up and no sightline to protect, so a packed gym or a shared side hoop works the same as an empty driveway.
Do I need special earbuds?
No. Any earbuds or headphones with a media button work — one press is a make, two is a miss. You can also tap the on-screen buttons.
Can I undo a mis-pressed shot?
Yes. Undo is an on-screen button — deliberately, so a stray earbud press can never erase a rep. Earbuds do two things and only two things: one press is a make, two is a miss. You can also fix a session from the recap.
Will Shot:DNA analyse my shooting form?
No. Form analysis needs video, and Shot:DNA does not use a camera. It tracks what you made, what you missed, from which spots, and how that trends across sessions.
